The rubber flexible joint is a tubular rubber part composed of inner surface rubber, cord layer and steel bead. After being vulcanized at high temperature and high pressure, it is composed of loose sleeve with metal flange or parallel face joint. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, heat resistance and high temperature resistance. This product is widely used in chemical engineering, engineering construction, water supply and drainage, drainage pipeline, oil, light and light industry, refrigeration, sanitation, water heating, fire protection, electric power and other basic projects. There are two key types of soft joint used in cement plant: one is rubber type soft joint, the other is elastic metal type soft joint. Rubber type soft joint often causes premature aging or damage of rubber due to poor refrigeration and sealing problems; elastic metal type soft joint often breaks due to high temperature and fatigue. The service life of these two kinds of soft joints is generally less than half a year, and the amount of maintenance is large. According to the use characteristics of the soft joint, it is very special requirements for the clinker discharge part of the mechanical shaft kiln applied in the natural environment. The soft joint is designed according to the following design regulations: (1) high temperature resistance ≥ 300 ℃; (2) excellent vibration and fatigue resistance; (3) service life > one year; (4) air pressure resistance ≥ 20MPa, good sealing performance.
The temperature of clinker discharged from the shaft kiln is 150-200 ℃ under normal conditions. Under abnormal conditions, the temperature of clinker reaches above 300 ℃, and sometimes red clinker appears. At such a high temperature, even if the heat-resistant rubber is used, the soft joint can not be used normally. Therefore, the design scheme adopts cooling water cooling to improve the high-temperature performance of the soft joint, that is, a circle of cooling water tank body is lifted around the soft joint pipe to isolate the clinker from heat conduction to the rubber of the soft joint according to the steel pipe wall, so as to avoid the rubber softening and aging at high temperature. The heat conduction of high temperature clinker in the soft joint steel pipe is in the form of radiation source and transmission.
